These handmade sculptural vessels are made with wool and vary in size, form and shape. I explore the idea of a container that is hollow and visually holds nothing but continually maintains shape and form. There is a space created inside of a shape. Is it to carry something? Is it to contain something? Is it to hide something? Is it to protect something?

For me the vessel or container is an important philosophical concept that raises many questions.

Is it simply empty space? Does the existence of a space imply that something is there even if not seen by the eye?

My vessels are open allowing the space inside to breathe.
